[l2h] 99.2beta6 configure problem on BSDI

When running configure on BSD/OS, I get:
	
	checking for temporary disk space... /var/tmp
	
	Error: Cannot parse drive letter from current directory

	Error: Cannot parse drive letter from current directory
	Fatal: Cannot determine current drive letter

Seems this no longer works on non-DOS systems.
