KG Kumar is doing the copy editing of the tutorials while Dr E
Krishnan is rewriting some portions of it.  You might be amused to
know that Free Software Foundation, Boston, US will republish the
tutorial in book form for world wide audience and their spring
catalogue lists LaTeX Tutorials in the first page with a good graphic
of the cover of the book which is priced at US$ 25.00.

Two projects funded by TUGIndia are underway:

  * Kannada font development project headed by Yogananda
 
  * Malayalam font development project by A J Alex

Surely, the project leaders are the best persons to enlighten more on
the development work they have done so far.

Alex has also completed the integration of two donated fonts in
Malayalam (Keli and Rachana) into TeX. The user documentation has been
completed while the technical doc is still on the way.
