	I also have xtexcad, but it is not the same.  I cannot open
files 
	created with texcad in xtexcad. Actually, lines of arbitrary
slopes 
	are possible in texcad through emline specials. It was specific
to 
	emtex, an excellent distribution for MSDOS. Now,  almost all the

	dvi drivers I know support these specials. Dvips also supports
this.  However,
	xtexcad has problems with emlines specials.  It cannot display
the lines 
	created with these special commands properly.
