Hi Karl,

I have no strong feelings about that - my initial decision was for 
ConTeXt; LaTeX people may expect something different; in which case it 
would make sense to add it, if Ralf Stubner can provide a patch. Other 
than that, I had no idea that anyone was still using 8-bit encodings in 
2019...
