Does your problem occur only when pictures contain texts with postscript
fonts ?

I draw my pictures with mpfpic wich uses metapost to produce pictures. When
I make pictures with postscript fonts included and when the metapost source
of the pictures don't contain the metapost line :

prologues:=2;

then windvi doesn't draw the pictures.

(Moreover, if I want to have the right fonts in the pictures, it's necessary
to modify some fontmap file in the gslib directory.)
