[fptex] jadetex

I'm having a look at jadetex format and I noticed that jadetex.exe and pdfjadetex require .fmt extension and not .efmt so I'm constrict to use etex -efmt=jadetex instead of jatetex to run over the files.tex. How can I fix this bug on my own?
