[fptex] hyperref, powersem, hyperlinks problem

I am having a problem when using \documentclass{powersem} and the
hyperref package.

I though that \pageref will create a cross-reference that I could use
as a hyperlink. Then I could jump from the cross-reference to the
slide that is being referenced.

Either I am mistaken in my understanding of hyperref, I am using the
wrong options in the hyperref package, or I am making some other
stupid mistake.

I am attaching an example (temp.tex and the correspond temp.pdf).  On
Slide 4 the cross-references are correctly created but they do not
work as hyperlinks. This is, when I click on those cross-references
nothing happens, in other words Acrobat does not jump to the slide
containing the cross-reference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
