[fptex] fonts conflict in fptex?

You have some conflict within the .map files or some thing like
that. Using your input I can't reproduce the problem : the .dvi is ok
when viewed by windvi, pdflatex and dvipdfm output are ok too. Can you send me
the .log file of your command ?
