[fptex] mktexpk looking for Ghostscript??

I'm sure not.  That manifests itself as gsftopk running and then failing.

I have in the past found it necessary both to put the gs `bin' directory in
the path and to set the environment variable GS_LIB.  As Fabrice said, the
Registry should give the information, but

a) with the security levels we run on our teaching cluster it seems not to
for individual accounts, and

b) my Win2k laptop has been updated through so many versions of
gsview/gs/Windows that the settings seem to have got confused.
