New to fpTeX w/ Questions

Hi,

I'm looking to replacing a bunch of miktex installs with fpTeX (so I can
share setup with my solars/linux teTeX install) but have a few questions.

I hate to ask this but is it being actively maintained?  The home page
spoke of a 0.4 beta before TUG99 but I can't find info on it.

Does this list have a searchable archive?
