Shure that it was this way 'round?
Since I reported the same problem (black boxes when using the magnifying
glass) when I used the ATI Rage Pro driver from MS that came with Win98,
that disappeared when I replaced the driver with that for ATI Xpert@Work
AGP from ATI's web site.
