It may have been the preview `header' which caused problems: an eps
file with a preview header consists of 1) a table of content of 30
bytes; 2) the PostScript code, and 3) the preview `header'. It is easy
to extract the PostScript code manually or with gsview. However, on my
Linux web2c 7.2 system even the original eps didn't cause problems.
