In general, TrueType fonts cannot be losslessly converted to Type 1,
because the hinting mechanisms used in TrueType and in Type 1 are too
different, and in some TrueType fonts, hints are used in non-trivial
way to build the character outlines, and removing (ignoring) hints
will give completely incorrect outlines, at any resolution.
