Yes. My faulty assumption was that it's possible to get it anyway.

All afm's have two Euro glyphs assigned to position 128 as 'Euro' and
164 as 'currency', e.g.,
 
   C 128 ; WX 480 ; N Euro ; B 26 -14 479 711 ;
   C 164 ; WX 480 ; N currency ; B 26 -14 479 711 ;
   C -1 ; WX 480 ; N oldcurrency ; B 0 107 480 587 ;

I just want to get 'oldcurrency' into position 164 as 'currency'. How
can I achieve this?
