font encoding

Hello,

this question is not related to the subject of this list, but as the font
experts are here so I hope someone can give me a hint: I have a type 1 font
containing nearly all glyphs present in latin1 and latin2 encoding. Now I
wish to typeset latin1 as well as latin2 text using this font. what is the
best way to generate the font metrics needed for this purpose, given that I
don't want to use virtual font at all.
