Look at my new adobe.map in the hacked fontname tables I announced
a few minutes ago. They now use a format such as

padb8r AGaramond-Bold 100 gdb_____
padbi8r AGaramond-BoldItalic 100 gdbi____
padri8r AGaramond-Italic 100 gdi_____
padr8r AGaramond-Regular 100 gdrg____
pads8r AGaramond-Semibold 100 gdsb____
padsi8r AGaramond-SemiboldItalic 100 gdsbi___

so you can pick the ATM file name from the last comlumn and the
Berry file name from the first column (with 8r replaced by 8y)
to do the renaming semi-automatically. Beware of duplicate or
incomplete p__r8r table entries, though!

Cheers, Ulrik.
