Thank you for the reply, Donald.  Sorry for the noise.  

There is talk of reviving the list with a somewhat different purpose, to see what can be done about getting undergraduates interested in, and using, TeX.

I didn't see my test, though, so I suspect I have my usual problems with the account.  I'll look into it.
