[dvipdfmx] Incorrect error message for font with specified path

Hi,

I carried out some investigation and found out the following,
concerning examples from

    https://tug.org/pipermail/dvipdfmx/2021-February/000237.html
    https://tug.org/pipermail/dvipdfmx/2021-February/000238.html

If myfont.tfm is not in current directory,
then test1.dvi and test2.dvi give this error message:

dvipdfmx:fatal: Unable to find TFM file "myfont".

But if myfont.tfm is in current directory,
then test1.dvi and test2.dvi give this error message:

    dvipdfmx:fatal: OFM file error: ec(0) < bc(131073) ???

>From this it follows that specified font path is stripped
from font file name and tfm-file with this name is searched
in current directory and if it is found, OFM error message is
produced.

This is wrong for several reasons:

1) specified font path must not be ignored
2) the presence of tfm-file provokes reaction for ofm-file

Regards,
Igor
