It seems this (or a variation) happens for some recipients, but not all.
It doesn't for me. I tested this before, sending mail to a list to
myself at one of my other accounts (not @cs.umb.edu) and it didn't do
it then, either. I don't understand. But it's not outbound at
tug.cs.umb.edu as far as I can tell. If any of you want accounts to try
to debug it (or for anything else), let me know ...

Anyway, I'm installing sendmail 8.7. Hopefully masquerading will work
then and the mail will appear to be From: mail.tug.org, and this problem
will go away.
