Yes. But the point is that a site might well have both installed.
I don't think it would be desirable for output from utility A to
overwrite output from utility B!

Although there is no quality difference (to my knowledge) bteween ps2pk
and gsftopk, both being derived from the Type 1 renderer IBm donated to
the X Consortium, one can easily imagine that changing, or someone else
writing/donating a different renderer.
