Using MacTeX (Beginner)

Hello Ashley,

We are going to need some more info. You can edit a LaTeX file with any 
text editor, and most LaTeX-specific editors don't run LaTeX when you 
save the file - you typically have to run LaTeX explicitly. But without 
details of the editor you are using or what you then do, it's hard to help.
