Here is the grammar I've implemented in my DVI drivers to define the
psfonts.map format
I fear that i hacked in a few more changes a couple years ago.
There can now be <[ and << as well as <. Can't remember if there was
anything else, but I did update the manual.
(I didn't design the format, and had I done so, it
would not have looked like it does),
