News about fonts and input for some languages of India

I checked out the Web site, and found that Shusha is both a
QWERTY-keyboard input system, and a set of fonts, currently available
free for Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Gurmukhi and Bangla.  I don't know
any further details of the font format or encoding.
