True.  However, that is not the Adobe algorithm.  Another respondent
this morning made a similar observation, and I suggested that names
that contained neither hyphens nor uppercase letters could be exempted
>From the algorithm, so that they remain unchanged.

I was, however, more worried about collisions in commercial Type 1
fonts, and I think the experiment showed that the 5+3ff algorithm
is quite successful, but not quite perfect.
