BaKoMa extras

     I have just made a quick check. The following 38
fonts in the BaKoMa series, appear to be absent
>From the BSR series.  Please correct me.

     The absence of "standard" fonts is a
great hinderence in exploiting ".dvi" files posted by
EMJs.  Virtual font surrogates for many of these 38 have
been available on the BSR server; however they are
typographically inferior (and slow).

     Be aware that BSR goes beyond BaKoMa too for the
while. the WNCY, and LaTeX series are not yet in
BaKoMa.

     I suspect that Malyshev has made substantial progress
in automating MF ==> PS type1 conversion.  I would hope
that these improvements will mean that METAFONT can
finally play a serious role as a PS type1 type design
tool.  (This has not even been mooted on the MF list.
Why?)
