Abstract: JabRef is a comprehensive literature management tool built entirely around the BibTeX data format. JabRef’s features include web search, import and export in various formats, file attachment management, and quality checks of entries. Moreover, JabRef supports conducting systematic literature reviews. As an open-source initiative, JabRef also provides a suitable platform for software engineering education, particularly for newcomers to the field.
