For example, go to the Finder, select a file and type Cmd-C or choose copy from the "Edit" menu. Then go to Illustrator and create a new document. In the "Name" field of the "New Document" window, paste the Clipboard and you will no longer be able to do anything in Illustrator. This will require a force quit. In most applications, doing this simply pastes the name of the file. It appears that Illustrator is trying to paste much more (i.e., OS X copies more than just the name when you do a copy on a file in the Finder). .FILENAME : ABR_ .URL_LINK : http:// .WEEKDAY : Monday .MONTH : 03 .DAY : 25 .YEAR : 2002 .NAME : Francesco Costanzo .EMAIL : costanzo@engr.psu.edu SubmitButton: Submit
