Make it a rectangle by throwing in

\bigboxplus and \bigboxtimes.

\bigboxplus is established notation, as I have learnt. \bigboxtimes is here 
for symmetry and foreseeing the requests to come.

Is there still too much space in the layout for big symbols left?
