[Xy-pic] Fw: Xy-pic and Qcircuit

Daniel,

As I mentioned in the email I sent last night, only one of the
problems (the issue with framing null objects) went away when I
compiled with LaTeX instead of pdfLaTeX, and the command \xypdfoff
didn't have any effect.

So I guess that means that only the error described by
exampleError2a.tex could be related to the PDF driver, and Ross has
identified that one as using undocumented syntax (though syntax which
made sense to me at the time and used to work).
