[Xy-pic] bizarre bug

I don't see any problem when I run this example.

However, you are aware that this type of macro
is rather dangerous. It only works when the \rin
is the first thing in a cell, for verrrrry technical
reasons.


Can you send the output that you get, and the full
document, and its .log file.

Maybe you have some packages loaded (e.g. Babel)
that are causing Xy-pic to behave differently
to when those packages are not loaded.
