This is normal, when there is no material to be shipped out, e.g.:<br>

\documentclass{article}<br>
\begin{document}<br>
\end{document}<br>

Therefore, more details are helpful, e.g.:<br>
* Minimal example, which is supposed to set something like<br>

    \documentclass{article}<br>
    \begin{document}<br>
