<div dir="ltr">Right. I updated TeXLive and get exactly the same problem. It appears that Xe(La)TeX can not handle/include mps images. In the update all the pdf and eps are replaced by mps. <br><br><div class="gmail_quote">

Hmmm… won't compile on my system with error message:<br>

./test.tex:8: Unable to load picture or PDF file 'bc-fleur.mps'.<br>
<br>
although that file is located in .../texmf-dist/tex/latex/bclogo.<br>
