properly on a Windows system using plain XeTeX. The first complaint it
makes <br>>is that it doesn't understand the command \typeout, and when told

ignore that (more than once) it goes on to <br>>typeset the passage but with

hyphenation patterns loaded - so there are overfull rules at various
points in
the text. <br>>The error message (which I suppose is meant to go in the log)
actually appears at the start of the resulting PDF, <br>>before the Greek
text
