Interesting<div><br></div><div>I was tired and addled when I posted my query. Here is the missing information:</div><div><br></div><div>1. I first noticed the problem shortly after upgrading to 10.6. At that time I was using MacTeX2008; I tried the September 5 2009 beta, but the problem persisted.</div><div><br></div><div>4. This morning, I noticed that the fonts activated by FEX were not showing up in any application. After considerable experimentation, I discovered that the workaround is to go to FEX, disable and then reenable the fonts you want to use. Googling, I found that there are indeed some incompatibilities between Snow Leopard and FEX -- and my problem would seem to be one of them. Lucky me. Lino promises a fix soon. </div><div><br></div><div>Thanks for looking at this, and apologies for the dreadful first post. </div><div><br></div><div>Stephen Moye <br><blockquote type="cite"><div><div><div class="gmail_quote"><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="border-left: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204); margin: 0pt 0pt 0pt 0.8ex; padding-left: 1ex;"><div style="word-wrap: break-word;"><div>
