Could you check whether your Linux machine has more than one version of the Minion fonts, by any chance -- e.g., both .otf and .pfb formats, or copies installed both globally in /etc/fonts/something... and in ~/.fonts for the current user?</blockquote>
<div><br>There are .pfb formats in ~/texmf (from my local copy of the MinionPro package) and .otf formats in ~/.fonts. I'm not aware of any other copies on the system (it's not one where I have administrative access).<br>
