I agree with the author of the Fell Type in that, if he kindly and freely distributed his work, one should respect his licence agreement.<br>However, it would be absurd if I had to ask my printer: &quot;Hey, please use SumatraPDF (or Adobe Acrobat 4) to print my work, since the beautiful typeface I&#39;m using has a conflict with recent versions of Acrobat.&quot;<br>
(BTW, note that I love Sumatra for (Xe)Latexing, but I simply can&#39;t require my publisher to use it.)<br><br>Whether we like it or not, our PDFs should be at least compliant with recent versions of Adobe Acrobat, since it is an industry standard.<br>
