Hi

I recently noticed that I can't use fourier font with "plain" latex. I tried with mathpazo, no avail. With times too... Basically, no fonts work anymore with PDFLaTeX.
I got a "[PDFLaTeX] finished with exit status 70" message in Kile. I took a look in "output" section and noticed this error at the end of output:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
!pdfTeX error: pdflatex (file 8r.enc): cannot open encoding file for reading
==> Fatal error occurred, no output PDF file produced!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

What does this mean? With DVI output all seems to be fine.

I'm using Ubuntu 64-bit (8.10), TeXLive 2008 from DVD (and regularly updated).
