<div dir="ltr">When you try to compile and install the SVN version of XeTeX, it asks for a previous version of XeTeX in /usr/bin and if it is not there already, nothing will be done, so what I had done was&quot; creating a link of xetex from /usr/local/texlive/2008/bin/i386-linux/xetex to /usr/bin/xetex and then installed XeTeX. I believe that is the way it should be done with TL08.<br>
