Hi,

Thanks for sharing your experience, I have checked this page, and find it very useful.
However, I didn't find any notes about installing it in **my own Home directory** by setting
proper TEXMFLOCAL, etc. The XeTeX trees are installed in my *HOME/texmf*, but the binaries
are not copied into /usr/bin, due to my write permission on that directory.

Lingyun

On Sat, Feb 23, 2008 at 3:01 AM, Axel E. Retif <axel.retif@mac.com> wrote:
Done! Thanks a lot! In fact, I saw that I could download ``a tarball
from the ViewVC interface at http://scripts.sil.org/svn-view/xetex/
TRUNK'', and that's what I did; then I ran the two scripts you
mention, and now I have xetex 0.997!
_____

And it really was that easy.

Best,
