Me too. In my Linux I have  texmf-var/fonts/conf/texlive-fontconfig.conf
symlinked to /etc/fonts/conf.d and thus I can see LM fonts in all
applications. I have the dots in TL 2010, 2011, 2012 and no dots in 2008,
2009, 2013, 2014 pretest.
