[XeTeX] texlive and xetex

The problem is that you ask at the wrong place. You cannot expect to
get a ubuntu specific answer here. We do not know how ubuntu packages
TL and what is included in basic. XeTeX is certainly available in
ubuntu packages but you have to ask ubuntu maintainers how to install
it. Or alternatively follow Wilfred's advice and install TeX Live from
TUG.
