I'm using XeTeX, Version 3.1415926-2.5-0.9999.3 (TeX Live 2013), and in my preamble, a simple
\newfontfamily\hebrewfont[Script=Hebrew]{SBL Hebrew} % or Ezra SIL; NewJerusalemU

SBL Hebrew is available at

and Ezra SIL at
