It was done using the polyglosia package, using \texthindi{हिंदी लेख}
and \texturdu{اردو}
As a matter of fact, this XeLaTeX source was generated from XML, the
method is described here:
http://icebearsoft.euweb.cz/lectures/floatingtext-en.php
The slides are, however, only in Czech.
