[XeTeX] Font nuisances

Oh, now I see what you're trying to do ... and what you've got here, 
Gareth, works for me. You can also use:

\setmainfont[ItalicFont={BergamoStd-Italic},
BoldFont={BergamoStd-Bold},
BoldItalicFont={BergamoStd-BoldItalic}]{Cardo}
