[XeTeX] Vertical Japanese in memoir with fontspec

Hi all,

As suggested by Will Robertson, I'm posting this here too. I have been 
experimenting a bit with vertical Japanese text in fontspec.

It works somewhat, but I have also found some issues. If any one you has 
some experience with this, please have a look at:

and let me know via this thread or comp.text.tex any fixes, workaround 
or what I should file where as a bug.
