[XeTeX] Strange problem with 0.996 and 0.9995 xetex and File Names.

Howdy,

That's TL2008. The report uses 10.4 or 10.5 and I'm on 10.6 (with  
TL2008 and 2009 pretest). And it's really weird because the file  
`Summary 2.tex' is fine but the file `Summary 22.tex' fails. ... why  
does this sound familiar? ...

My feeling is that fixing up all of TeX Live so that file names with  
spaces works is sort of like trying to stick fingers in a leaking dam.  
But that's me.
