[XeTeX] OpenType fonts in Linux?

But it doesn't have a way to add arbitrary fonts, right?  It has no 
fonts supporting languages of India/ South Asia, nor does its Arabic 
font listing seem to include the SIL Arabic script fonts.  So I guess 
it's a good idea, but needs expansion.
