[XeTeX] xdv to rtf, docx, or OpenOffice?

Maybe it helps to choose a few preferred languages and input methods  
in the International System Preferences tab. And once you check a  
little box, you get a flag symbol in the ð menu bar. Then you would  
see that the flag changes when MS Word is launched Ð and could switch  
back. Hopefully! (I think I'll never spend money for such stuff.  
There are NeoOffice and OpenOffice, now in version 3 I think it has  
become a native Aqua application.)

BTW, TeX4ht can translate (La)TeX to HTML (with or without CSS file)  
or to XML. I'm not sure whether it already supports XeTeX. 'texdoc  
tex4ht' on the command line will open the (somehow over-complicated)  
documentation in your web browser.
