[XeTeX] hyphenation in adobe garamond pro

I can't find an example, but I'm pretty sure that the tilted dash was
a characteristic of Claude Garamond's work in the 1530s--40s, and was
based on Venetian designs of the century before that, e.g. this one
from 1499:

In other words, your font files are not in error and there is no
problem to be fixed, unless you don't like Garamond.
