[XeTeX] Arabxetex, ednotes critical edition, poetry environment

I'm trying to use arabxetex with the ednotes examples for a critical  
edition in a poetry environment, but I got this error :

! LaTeX Error: Not in outer par mode.

Any help ? Here are parts of the used code :
